The ATF says it is shelving a proposed ban on ‘green tip’ ammunition after a deluge of critical feedback, highlighting that the move would be highly unpopular with Americans.

The federal agency said Tuesday that the President’s planned executive action to prohibit bullets for AR-15 hunting rifles will not go ahead. The ATF says that over 80,000 comments were received on the proposal. Most viewed the move negatively.

“The vast majority of the comments received to date are critical of the framework, and include issues that deserve further study,” the agency said in a statement. “Accordingly, ATF will not at this time seek to issue a final framework.”

The agency took to social media, declaring “You spoke, we listened.” The public comment period still had another week to run, and was to end Monday.

The ATF added that it will “further evaluate the issues…

The plea comes after the Okanagan Nation Alliance (ONA) Chiefs Executive Council (CEC) was informed that the two accused in Roxanne Louie’s murder were both granted bail last Tuesday.

“[This is] in spite of the brutality of the murder and the covering up of their culpability,” says Grand Chief Stewart Phillip, ONA Chair.

Grace Elinor Robotti, 65, was charged with second-degree murder in the death of Louie.

The 26-year-old Vancouver woman went missing while visiting family, including Robotti in the south Okanagan over Christmas.

Grace’s brother, Pier Louis Robotti, 61, was charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder and…

Mississippi, the Canine Murder State with a good dose of Stalinism.
———————————————–
The Huffington Post reported that measure would make Mississippi the only state in history with a policy against a specific dog breed.

House Bill 1261 not only says police may enter homes without warrants, but they could actually kill the animal if they determine the dogs are “not under proper restraint when on the premises of its owner” or if they are not wearing vaccination tags and “attempts to peacefully capture the dog have been made and proven unsuccessful.”

The bill is being called the Mississippi Regulation of Dangerous Dogs Act, and proponents say it is intended “create civil and criminal penalties for failing to keep dangerous dogs securely confined and under restraint, and for failing to meet certain requirements designed to protect the public.”

police-danger

A new bill has been proposed which would allow police officers to enter any home, regardless of whether or not they have a warrant, if there is a pit bull on the property. Even worse, the bill would allow officers to shoot and kill the dog if only a handful of conditions were met.

It is well-known, although forbidden for the establishment media to mention, that Soros worked closely with USAID, the National Endowment for Democracy (now doing work formerly assigned to the CIA), the International Republican Institute, the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs, the Freedom House, and the Albert Einstein Institute to initiate a series of color revolutions in Eastern Europe and Central Asia following the engineered collapse of the Soviet Union.

“Many of the participants in Kiev’s ‘EuroMaidan’ demonstrations were members of Soros-funded NGOs and/or were trained by the same NGOs in the many workshops and conferences sponsored by Soros’ International Renaissance Foundation (IRF), and his various Open Society institutes and foundations. The IRF, founded and funded by Soros, boasts that it has given ‘more than any other donor organization’ to ‘democratic transformation’ of Ukraine,” writes William F. Jasper.

Soros Admits Responsibility for Coup and Mass Murder in Ukraine

Source: Info Wars, by Kurt Nimmo

George Soros told CNN’s Fareed Zakaria over the weekend he is responsible for establishing a foundation in Ukraine that ultimately contributed to the overthrow of the country’s elected leader and the installation of a junta handpicked by the State Department.

“First on Ukraine, one of the things that many people recognized about you was that you during the revolutions of 1989 funded a lot of dissident activities, civil society groups in eastern Europe and Poland, the Czech Republic. Are you doing similar things in Ukraine?” Zakaria asked Soros.

“Well, I set up a foundation in Ukraine before Ukraine became independent of Russia. And the foundation has been functioning ever since and played an important part in events now,” Soros…

For some reason that remains a mystery for the time-being, our connectivity to the internet is crippled. It started off when Facebook changed some things, Firefox’s update, and somewhere in there something reacted badly to our Firewalls, which are now ‘hyper protective’, and are being worked on.

It’s not a ‘serious’ issue, but we cannot access Facebook, I can’t get here to WordPress reliably, and connection speeds are usually dismally low.

So, we’re working on it, and no problem is without a solution, and we’re GOING to find the solution for this nuisance.

I am hoping this gets posted on Facebook, and to all our friends who see this, we’re still here…just forging on ahead in the great war vs. software snags.

However, our newest addition, an un-named grey kitten is doing just fine. Had a busy day, but all the rest accepted him and adopted him, including Eydis who really does make a good ‘Big Sister’. :-D

OTTAWA — An Alberta man dying of lung and rectal cancer has been seeking Canada Pension Plan disability benefits for 18 months after being told by officials that he doesn’t qualify because his condition isn’t serious enough.

Peter McClure, 62, is now caught up in the massive backlog plaguing the federal government’s social security tribunal, and says he received no response to his request for an expedited appeal hearing.

“You do not have a disability that is both severe and prolonged as defined under the CPP legislation,” McClure was told in a letter from Service Canada in August 2013 after he applied for CPP disability.

“I sent a letter back saying: ‘Here’s the catch, I may not be here in a year,”‘ he said, asking for an expedited appeal hearing due to his worsening condition.

McClure’s plight began when he contacted Service Canada after being first diagnosed with rectal cancer in…

Basic Concept

Aquaponics is a food production system based upon mother-nature’s own method of recycling fish waste by feeding it to plants. In a nutshell, that’s the bare-bones definition. You should also know it is highly adaptable to home-based use, is low maintenance, produces very high amount of food/area (food density), and requires very little external inputs.

How it Works – Layman’s Version

Live fish are grown in a tank. Tank water, which contains fish waste, is pumped from the tank to grow-beds. Grow beds are simple containers filled with gravel and which have plants planted in them on top. Gravel in the grow beds will naturally come to host bacterial colonies which will convert fish waste into plant food. Plants consume the food, water is returned to the fish tank via gravity, and you get to eat organically grown fruits, vegetables, and fish. The fish are happy because their water is kept clean. The plants are happy and grow quickly because they are receiving nutrients 24/7, and you should be happy and healthy having access to home-grown, organically produced food. The only external inputs to the system are electricity and fish food – however even the fish food can be system-grown.

How it Works – Detailed Explanation

You need not understand anything more than the layman’s explanation above in order to get started with Aquaponics. However, a little more knowledge certainly doesn’t hurt and will help you understand how the system works.

Aquaponics takes advantage of mother-nature’s own methods to convert fish waste into plant food. At the heart of this system is what is commonly referred to as the Nitrogen Cycle.

Nitrogen is an essential element necessary for life on Earth as we know it. The Nitrogen Cycle is a series of chemical processes whereby nitrogen from the environment is consumed by living organisms and processed into various different nitrogen-based chemical forms. This is accomplished via a chain of living organisms, each utilizing nitrogen in some way to live, and converting it into another nitrogen-based chemical structure which is then needed by another organism. In this way, nitrogen is continually cycled from the environment, through the biological system, and back into the environment.

But some of the most commonly used stone knives are overlooked because they look like nothing more than a flake of stone. If there is any flint, obsidian, chert, glass, or other knappable stone around, you can make a flake blade in seconds. It requires no tools, except another rock, and it requires no flint knapping skill. This makes the flake knife an ideal survival tool. And don’t think that a flake blade is a second rate tool. They are sharper than surgical stainless steel and can skin and butcher a deer as fast as any modern knife.

Today you can buy some beautiful stone knives. These knives are made of obsidian or flint and have long beautiful blades. Only a really first rate craftsman can make one of these. I have a great one myself that was a gift from a friend. Pictured below: Beautiful but impractical long bladed flint knife.

The problem with these knives is that they are very brittle and easily broken. For this reason most primitive knives, with the exception of a few ceremonial knives, did not look anything like these works of art. Most stone knives looked more like slightly lop-sided arrowheads.

A good example is the knife carried by the “Ice Man”, a late stone-age man who was found frozen in a glacier in the Italian Alps. The Ice Man knife had an overall length of five inches. It is described as looking like an “arrowhead” that has been wedged into…

Third Annual Ft. Hamby Pow Wow held in Wilkesboro NC. It was presented by the Blue Ridge Intertribal Pow Wow Association and the W. Kerr Scott Dam and Reservoir. There were many events and crafts centered around Native American Indian Culture. I was particularly interested in flint knapping, which is the art of making arrowheads, spearheads, knives and sharp edged tools out of silica based stone. I met an instructor by the name of Barry who is himself part Cherokee by heritage. He began teaching me about flint knapping by explaining the materials and tools of the craft.

Will people buy into it? Of course they will, too many love them some conspiracy, too many walk around in a self induced coma, too many are armchair activists who are capable of little more than than being a sponge that soaks up the party line.

There are people who champion Charles Manson, skinheads who do likewise of Hitler-should any be surprised that there are those who would champion Peltier, Graham, and the wannabe chiefs?

I just watched the latest video offered on the Annie fb page and would commend Paul DeMain for having said what should be understood by one and all-not verbatim as cited below but close enough to make the point.

“Silence is killing our children we need snitches who say there is a crack house here that is killing our children-my uncle is raping his niece.”

By the Liberators own definition and liberal application of the word snitch, one would have to say Russell Mean’s melodramatic, with perfectly timed breaking up of his voice finger pointing at Vernon during the Branscombe news conference serves to qualify him as one.

I don’t exactly view his participation as a public service, more one of an abortive attempt at damage control. The reality was that Branscombe was on the trail and the press conference would have…
